For though the basic premise of the film maybe far-fetched, there can be no doubt that love defies all rationale and makes even the powers-that-be to acknowledge its greatness. This is one of the most perfect romantic comedies I've ever seen! With Meg Ryan as an integral ingredient, Fred Schepisi has churned in great performances from Walter Mathau, Tim Robbins and Stephen Fry! 'I.Q.' puts you in that feel-good romantic-comedy mode from the word go, or rather from the very introductory delightful violin tune, which if I'm not mistaken is derived from 'Twinkle, twinkle, little stars'(doesn't take an Einstein to figure that out )) The film is great example of science getting an excellent artistic treatment.
